Places I HAVE to see!

This forest looks like something from a fairy tale. It's called the black forest and it's a wooden mountain range in Baden-Württemberg, south-western Germany.
The name derives from the Romans who called it Silva Nigra. because almost all light is blocked out.

Cute drawings by Sungwon

Sungwon makes a lot of cute drawings with this blue girl in center. I really like the curiosity and sadness in some of the illustrations, and her sense for details. See all her drawings HERE.

Places I HAVE to see!

The picture speaks for itself. The Netherlands is famous for its tulips - especially around Amsterdam. And the best time to see them should be around now, so if you are anywhere near, you should go!

Places I HAVE to see!

Mendenhall Ice Caves, Alaska
Here is another place, that I just have to see one day. It's Mendenhall Ice Caves near Juneau, Alaska. Many people travel here to see the glaciers above, but of course the beautiful sight wont last forever with the temperature rising.

More summer!

1. Blue dress 2. Black dress 3. Floral dress
I just can't get enough summer-dresses! Unfortunately I think, that the blue one is way to long for my 160 cm. But the back one is definitely moving in with me soon!

Places I HAVE to see!

The tunnel of love in Ukraine, Klevan
As a little birthday-treat one of my god friends send me a lot of amazing pictures from places, that are so beautiful, that it's almost impossible to believe. I would like to share some of them with you over the next few days.

The first one is this beautiful tunnel outside Klevan in Ukraine, that's called The Tunnel of Love. In fact it's a train tunnel of trees, and it's one of the main attractions in the area.

Young couples come here to kiss, and make a wish. It's believes that if their love is real, the wish will come true.

Fake it: Leather Skirt

End of the month and no money? Well then you know how I fell. Still I'm thinking about buying this Faux Leather skirt from Ebay. It's almost for free. With a line under almost.

Summer at work

1. Green dress 2. Blue dress 3. Red dress
These dresses I would use at work. Especially the red one is "serious" enough I think.

Outfit in Paris

Looking down at the Seine in Paris in some of my favorite summer-clothes and wearing a Chanel lipstick.
The jacket is from Edith and Ella, the bag is from Asos, the knit is from Zara and the skirt is from Miu Miu.

End of the month: Cheap dresses

1. Striped dress 2. Beige dress 3. Black dress
I just learned about Sheinside yesterday, and they have so many beautiful summerdresses, that there's no time to see them all. Here are three that I really like. Especially the striped one, which makes me think about summer and Roskilde Festival!

Outfit in Paris

My favorite outfit in Paris. The bag is from Asos, the knit is from Zara, the skirt is from Miu Miu and the shoes are from Shoe Biz. And the lipstick is from Chanel called Passion.

One of my favorite David Bowie songs is Space Oddity, and every-time I look at this sweater the melody plays in my head. Many labels make sweaters like these, but I've found a cheap version on Ebay. Don't know if I'm gonna buy this one yet, or wait till I've got a little more cash, so I can get one from Mr. Gugu and Miss Go.

Great art-blog: Colossal

by Lavalet
Just stumbled over this great modern art-blog called Colossal. Check it out HERE. As it says on the blog "it explores art, design and photography, with a focus on work that is non-digital in nature."
It has been Webby-nominated, and is made by Christopher Jobson from Chicago. Enjoy!

Ebay-goodies: Funny ear cuffs

Foxybeads. Find them HERE

These ear cuffs are quite fun, and cost next to nothing! The first one reminds me of someone humping an ear. And who doesn't want that (just kidding). But now that everyone is wearing ear cuffs it's nice to see, that they're not all the same!

Asos-goodies!

Disney + Vans = Mega-awesome!

#VANS #DISNEY
These shoes are so nice! I would especially like to get the Winnie the Poo-Vans. Unfortunately they will only be sold in Wood Wood in Copenhagen from July, and I bet there wont be anyone left in my size after five minutes. Hopefully they will be able to find online somewhere soon!

Outfit in Paris

This is where we lives in Paris.
On the picture I'm wearing my favorite jumpsuit. I bought it in a vintage-store in Rome last year. As I've said earlier, I love yellow! The shoes are from Shoe Biz.

Outfit in Paris

One of the bridges at the Seine had locks all over it. The meaning was, that they were going to symbolize the wrongness of violence against women. It seems that a lot of tourist didn't understand that, because they wrote names and hearts on locks and put them on the fence.
Here I am wearing my Sandquist bag, ray-bans, a cardigan from American Apparel, a leatherjacket from Zara, a top from H&M and jeans from Won Hundred.

From My Hands

Ladies and Wine by Rikke Nørgaard
This is the biggest drawing I've ever made. It's 1 meter wide and around 1,5 meter tall. What do you think? Should it go to my exhibit?

Outfit in Paris

On my way to Montmartre in good shoes. Not good enough to help my ankles from being sore after walking 10 km.
The band around my hair is vintage from Dengang, the bag is from Sandquist, the Joy Division-top is from Roskilde Festival, the sweater is from American Apparel, the leatherjacket is from Zara, the shorts are from Levi's and the sneakers are from Zara.

Skull-wall

This is so cool, that I don't have words for it! I saw it in an art-book at Parlais de Tokyo in Paris.
My apartment is not really big enough for it, but I'll think I'm going to make something like it in a smaller version. What do you think?

Outfit in Paris

The first night out in Paris I wore Levi's shorts, a transparent Weekday shirt and a coral Chanel lipstick. Even though it's one of my best lipsticks it didn't last through three courses. I couldn't help to buy another three while I was in Paris though - they were a lot cheaper than in Denmark.

Art and exhibitions in Paris

There was great street art on Montmartre.
It's almost impossible not to buy a poster along the Seine. Tin tin, the Joker, Van Gogh and old concert-posters. I bought one with Bob Dylan.
A tree turned upside down outside Versailles.
The royals had a great time I suppose.
Crazy video-art made with magnets at Parlais de Tokyo. the museum is quite new and the modern art there is amazing.
Dorothy Iannone makes a rather feminist and also comic art.

I never found out if the cat was real or not. But anyway it made my boyfriend quite mad.

There were several great art-books at Parlais de Tokyo. I couldn't help to buy one about political art (read: journalist). This picture is from one of the books about street-art. It's crazy how sweet it is! I think I will make something like it!

Their main exhibition was about Chanel No. 5. You could see all the flowers and spices that were used and watch some of the advertisements for the perfume that was all Marilyn Monroe needed to wear when she went to bed.

Home from Paris

Now i have spend a week in Paris with my boyfriend Mathias. And even though the weather was dull, the city was amazing - as always. Here are some pictures from our week. Later on I will show you some of the clothes I wore.

First night out. Of course we had a lot of great wine!
Heavy but good food! Duck with beans. Mathias enjoys.
We stood in line for an hour to get into the catacombs, but it was definitely worth the wait.
The Saint-Ouen flea market has  all kinds of antics.
Old  barok chairs and of Chanel bags can be found in Saint-Ouen.
The view from the Eiffel-tower.
Beautiful cupcakes can be found everywhere!

At Montmartre on the way to see Sacre Coeur. City of love, ay?

The birds were almost tame. They likes to eat from my hand.

You have to eat at Chartier! The line to get in is long, but it's worth the wait. And then it's cheap!
The best place we ate was Mexi & Co. It was very cozy and their  food  was to die for! And very very cheap also.

Versailles was amazing! But it was also sick to see how the royals spent tons of money, while people in France starved.

My boyfriend is a kendama-fan - and he's turning me into one as well! He used it all the time in Paris.
